As we approach the year 2018, I wanted to take this opportunity to wish everyone in our ever-growing community a spectacular holiday season! Whether you’re drinking egg-nog and hot chocolate with family or sipping on margarita and mojito with friends, we wish you a joyous holiday filled with delicious food & drinks :)

This has been an amazing first year for Mealo. Our warm-hearted community grew to over 500 professionals from over 20 companies within just a few months, and we appreciate each and every one of you. As we begin a new year full of delicious bites, we’re thrilled to have you along for the ride.

With that said, we’re extremely excited for what 2018 will bring! After hearing all your comments and feedback, we’re tirelessly working on bringing you a brand new approach that makes it even easier, faster and more affordable for you to enjoy a healthy delicious lunch at work. We can't wait! For this reason, our services will be temporarily paused during the holiday season and will resume in 2018.

We're very excited to announce that Mealo is now offering its services to companies located in Richmond BC. No more thinking of what to eat for lunch, join mealo and enjoy delicious healthy meals everyday at work. We noticed that in Richmond there are many companies located far from any food option, and if there is anything - it is usually a gas station or a coffee shop. That is why we decided to bring the popular trendy meals all the way from Downtown Vancouver to the companies in Richmond.

Mealo is proud to announce that we're now serving over 150 employees at the Aritzia head office in Beautiful British Columbia.

Employees and staff at Aritzia will get to order their lunch by simply sending a text message. To enjoy the benefits and perks of Mealo, first your office will need to register the company on our platform. We will then create a registration link for the company employees to join their office on Mealo. Once registered, employees will receive our daily menu every morning at 9:30am and have until 10:30am to place their order.

Some of the restaurants we work with include: Finch's, La Taqueria, Poke Time, Hubbub, and many more.

In today's modern living, queues and lines are the remnants of the old rusty 20th century way of life. This is especially true when we're talking about buying some food for lunch. It is correct that food should be valued and nothing comes easy, but let's take a step back and realize that living in a fast paced city when food is readily available everywhere we go, who has time to spend waiting in long restaurant lines?

In various circumstances, lines can arguably be positive for the restaurant to show how good their food quality is. But this is exactly why we have Yelp or Google Reviews to help us out. If we want to be realistic, there is nothing to justify why we want to stand in a line for a good quality food, if an alternative existed to get the same food, but with no line.
